Contractor Direct Building Materials was started in July 2004 in the small community of Plamondon, Alberta. This dot on the map of a community was the perfect location for the three ambitious owners to open this business.

Plamondon is located roughly two and half hours south of the ever-growing Fort McMurray. With this city continuously growing, Contractor Direct makes daily deliveries to the local builders and contractors in Fort McMurray as well as all the deliveries to our local customers.

Contractor Direct expanded this winter to add another 5,000 sq. ft. of store and also expanded its already large supplier group so that we could better serve our customers. No job is too big or too small for Contractor Direct. We look at our customers as people and not numbers. With strong small town values in our roots, we believe in helping in our community and helping our neighbours.
